Our Belief

The therapeutic process can help reduce symptoms, overcome challenges and implement healing and positive change. Clients can become more introspective as well as insightful as they gain knowledge and understanding in how they are the authors of their life story.

Ultimately, clients are the experts in their own lives and we can help them in finding meaning, compassion and self-acceptance, free of judgment.

Each client is unique from the experiences they have encountered in their lives and should be supported in the specific ways they need. Therapy is not a one size fit all model and works best when approached from a comprehensive lens. I practice from a trauma focus as well as a  psychodynamic perspective. I help clients reclaim their lives and create healing from painful/difficult experiences in the past and or present day.

The struggles of life challenges and or symptoms doesn't have to affect your quality of life.  I can help to guide you throughout your healing journey of self-discovery and introspection.  My work with clients includes, but is not limited to: anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, sexual abuse, domestic violence, trauma/complex PTSD as well as relationship challenges, couples/marital struggles, new mothers/parents, family discord, identity issues, life transitions and work /life balance.

I received a Master of Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with a concentration in Latino Mental Health and Multiculturalism. My undergraduate degree is in Social Psychology from DePaul University, where I previously taught as an adjunct instructor.
